The Newport Car Museum was interested in upgrading their pylon sign to give it more impact and to develop more interest in their business. The new electric sign was to have LED illumination. We worked closely with the client to design a dynamic sign. Step one was to weld an aluminum frame structure. The sign skin was aluminum composite panel painted with Matthews acrylic polyurethane paint.
The entire structure was built in our shop at 7 Svea Avenue Branford, CT. We then disassembled it, loaded it on a trailer and installed it in Portsmouth RI.
