The Guilford Veterinary hospital asked us to create a double sided carved sign. It was made in two halves then glued together with aluminum tubes going through the middle. These tubes add strength to the sign and are what we will use later to install the sign on the sign posts. Once the sign is glued together the edges are sanded and gray primer is applied.
After the edges are painted the mask material is peeled away. A 3-D logo panel fills the top area of the sign and adds dimension by projecting out from the face while the gold leaf lettering below it is carved in.
